Somewhere between rock, punk rock, folk, and country, Doug finds himself. Influenced by not only those genres, but also by jazz, which he studied in college, and by gospel, which he experienced during his early years growing up in the church. As choir members in that church the better part of their lives, his mom and dad played significant roles in shaping his interest, love, and passion for music. Post high school, Doug toured extensively with his band Judge Nothing throughout the late 80’s and most of the 90’s. He moved to Chicago in ‘97, where he joined Pet Lover, entertained the city until 2009, and eventually landed in the south suburbs, where he continues to write and perform music happily. Doug looks forward to seeing you at the next Trail Mix event.
Molly Rose is a vocalist, guitarist and songwriter, performing regularly with her own self-titled jazz group, as a solo artist, in swing bands, and with other local musicians. Her setlist blurs genres, with everything from the great American songbook to classic pop, old-time Americana, straight-ahead jazz standards, and fresh original music. Whether through the nostalgia of reliving music from a bygone era, the infectious joy of creative music making, or original songs that tap into our shared human experiences, Molly's goal is to craft a sound experience that lifts the hearts, minds, and spirits of her listeners. Molly released her first album, “Hidden Talents” in 2016, following it up with “What You Need To Find” in 2019 and “Better Together” in 2022.

The Ramones, Beastie Boys, Violent Femmes, on tuba!? Why not? Add a healthy dose of originals and other off-the-beaten path, quirky covers, played by Tuba Paul, Meghann (vocals and percussion) and Steve (guitar and vocals). The Gü will provide a super-fun live-music experience. These three happy people met while while doing musical theatre, all live in Chicago’s south suburbs, and each bring a ton of experience playing in other bands. In short, Tuba Gü was meant to be.
